Where: Goode, VA • Bedford County Notes: As new leaves unfurl and the green returns to the landscape, I am conscious of the cycle of our seasons. Throughout my lives I have seen the miracles of life and growth in nature. I have seen great change and I have seen the progressive renewal of life. I continue to be amazed at the beauty, even if it is the same re-birth I saw last spring and the spring before. Seasons don't seem to pass for me, they simply flow one into the next, seamless and ongoing. Today I have faith that the next season will follow and hope that it will be more glorious than ever before. Nature photography becomes more challenging as the foliage returns to the trees. It creates low light conditions and obstructed views. But, with the return of the leaves comes the return of the many beautiful migrant species that pair off, breed and raise young here.
